It takes a lot of guts to open for Peter Frampton iin a full house at the Lobero...the best song was called "Malibu" by a blonde gal, (I later learned from Glide Magazine she is Jamey Geston) with tons of attitude..she played a gold glitter guitar and she was adorable..the song was off the charts. ..look out Katy Perry!! “Jamey is a darling and so talented, a beautiful young artist and singer.”

─Judy Collins, Grammy Winner & Legendary Folksinger

BIG SURPRISE AND SMALL VICTORIES AT NAMM 2013 ...Solo. A girl, and a guitar. ..., she eschews the typical cloying finger-picking of the indie singer-songwriter and plays both guitar and uke with a driving, aggressive right hand that makes the instrument work hard to establish a hard edge and cascading rhythm even as she uses her voice to ramp up and through and over the plateaus at the end of measures with a disquieting, dark counterpoint to the girl-song sing-song that no one that young has done since an early Joni Mitchell. ...none had a better platform than this girl had.... A small victory for a new voice.”

— David Keene - Executive Editor, AVNetworks

“TEENAGERS ON THE RISE: - JAMEY GESTON ... a dynamic performer and a prolific songwriter. ... She showed confidence, maturity, and incredible stage presence as she performed solo with her guitars, ukulele, and piano. ...Geston makes each cover she does her own and covers a wide range of artists. ...she may be only 14, but Geston is a seasoned professional with a long career ahead in the music business.”

— Bob Leggett, LA Music Critic, LA

“TOP TWENTY TO WATCH 2013 ... here's my list of the indie artists to watch in 2013: ...Jamey Geston - This young lady is only 14, but already has an endorsement from Daisy Rock Guitars and performed solo on the Main Stage at the NAMM Show, where such acts as Tower of Power, Legends of Rock and California Transit Authority also played. ...If she continues to grow as she has this past year, she has the skills to be a mega star.”

— Bob Leggett, LA Music Critic, LA

“FAVORITE MOMENTS AT NAMM, I was truly impressed by the way she carried off a solo effort on the same stage that had played host to Tower of Power, the Legends of Rock and the California Transit Authority. ...she owned the stage and turned in one of the finest performances, making this NAMM the best ever for live music.”

— Robert Leggett. LA Music Critic, LA

I heard you performing at the NAMM Show as I was walking towards the main hall on Sunday. There was something about your music that made me stop and listen - and I'm glad I did ! I recorded Butterfly Kisses and have been playing it over & over ever since. I look forward to seeing you perform live again and buying some of your music.

— George Conte, Woodland Hills, CA

... I was extremely impressed with her versatility, sweet nature and a great ear for melody & pitch. And at 14 she was already impersonating John Lennon on the piano, but with her OWN SONG!

─ Robert Barrett, Ventura Events/Barrett Productions

"You are a very old soul in a young person body and I can relate to that." "You got the gift, "Both songs have a good vibe and great songwriting on both. I think you are equally talented on both instruments.

— Shawn Jones, Record Producer, Singer, Songwriter, Musician

"You are stinking talented my dear friend." You have such a cool sound, maybe an indie Kiesha or maybe like Avril Lavigne only new, and that so cool. I think it a good thing that no one really knows what your sounds is like.
